Takedown and Storage

Takedown usually happens in early to mid-January. P&M inspects each strand and packs it for next year. Storage customers call in the fall to schedule reinstallation.

How P&M Prices a Display

Price depends on roofline length, building height, design complexity, light types, and difficulty of access. It also depends on whether the package includes maintenance, takedown, and storage. Typical residential displays cost $800 to $3,000. Commercial projects are quoted by building size and scope.

Early Booking

P&M reports that customers who book in September or October receive 10 to 15 percent off peak pricing. They also get first choice of installation dates.

Limited Seasonal Availability

P&M typically fills its schedule by mid-November. December availability is limited. Late installations cost more.
